# Connect Google Search Console to ChatGPT

Add gscdump as an MCP app in ChatGPT on the web, and ChatGPT answers from your Search Console record, kept past Google's 16-month window. It needs developer mode, which OpenAI lists for Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Education accounts.

## Connect ChatGPT to gscdump

1. 1 ### Sign in and connect a Site Sign in to gscdump with Google, then [connect the Site](https://gscdump.com/app/onboarding) you want to ask about.
2. 2 ### Create the app In ChatGPT, open Plugins, select Add at the top right, then Create MCP App. Name it gscdump, set the server URL to `https://gscdump.com/mcp` with OAuth, tick the risk checkbox, and select Create. 5. 5 ### Ask a question Start a chat and ask about a Site by name, as in the answer at the top of this page.

## What ChatGPT can read

The app has 14 read-only MCP tools. Analytics answers come from your preserved record, which keeps the days gscdump synced after Google deletes them at 16 months.

`inspect-url` is the exception: it asks Google at the time you ask. The [MCP page](https://gscdump.com/mcp) lists every MCP tool.

## Questions

OpenAI's developer mode guide lists Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Education accounts on the web, with the toggle under Settings, then Security and login. On a Pro account checked on 29 September 2026, that toggle was missing, and Plugins, then Add, then Create MCP App still worked. gscdump itself is free during beta.

Only the Sites you connected to gscdump, plus Sites shared with you through a Team. ChatGPT gets read-only access. Each MCP tool call checks your access to that Site again.

ChatGPT's connect dialog says you can disable access at any time. If you disconnect a Site in gscdump, no agent can read it, and gscdump deletes its synced history.
