# Terms

Plain terms for a free beta data service.

Last updated 2026-09-29.

## These terms

gscdump is operated by Harlan Wilton, an individual in New South Wales, Australia. These terms cover gscdump.com, the platform, the hosted MCP server, and the API. If you use the platform, you accept these terms.

The CLI is MIT licensed. Its license covers the CLI code. These terms cover the platform services that the CLI calls in cloud mode.

You must be 13 or older to use gscdump.

The [~~privacy page~~](https://gscdump.com/privacy) describes the data gscdump collects and how it is used.

## The beta

The platform is free during beta. Hosted access will be paid after launch. We will email you 30 days before billing starts.

Features can change, move, or stop during beta.

## Your Google data

Connect only Sites that you are allowed to access in Google Search Console. When you sign in at gscdump.com, gscdump asks Google only for the read-only Search Console scope. With that scope, gscdump cannot change your Search Console data.

If a partner product connects your account, its tokens can carry more Google scopes. gscdump uses them only for the actions that you or the partner request, such as a sitemap submission.

You keep ownership of your data. You permit gscdump to store and process it only to run the service for you.

When you use data that gscdump returns from Google APIs, you must also follow the terms that Google applies to that data.

## Acceptable use

Do not use gscdump to break the law.

Do not try to read data about a Site that you or your Team cannot access.

Do not attack, probe, or overload the service. Do not try to avoid rate limits or quotas.

Do not share your API keys. Do not resell access to the platform.

Agents may call the service for you. You are responsible for what your agents do with your credentials.

## No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties.

Search Console data is delayed, sampled, and limited by Google. gscdump does not promise that a sync is complete, that a date range has no gaps, or that totals match the Search Console UI.

## Liability

While the beta is free, we have no liability to you beyond what the law requires.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost traffic, lost revenue, lost data, or indirect loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes a right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under any other law that cannot be excluded.

## Termination

You can stop using gscdump at any time. To delete your account, open Settings, then Account. The [~~privacy policy~~](https://gscdump.com/privacy) says what deletion removes.

We may suspend or close access that breaks these terms. If the problem can be fixed, we will ask you to fix it first. If the problem is serious or puts the service at risk, we may act immediately.

## Changes to these terms

We may change these terms as the product changes. When we do, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change is material, we email account holders 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new terms.

## Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia. The courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction. This does not remove a protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
