Original research into Google Search Console's data limitations, sampling behavior, and hidden metrics. Every study uses real, anonymized data from sites synced through gscdump.

## Methodology

All research follows these principles:

- **Anonymized aggregates only** — no individual site data is ever shared
- **Transparent limitations** — sample size, selection bias, and methodology disclosed upfront
- **Reproducible** — methodology documented so others can validate findings
- **Licensed CC BY 4.0** — use our findings freely with attribution and a link to gscdump.com

## Why We Publish Research

The SEO industry relies on incomplete information about GSC's data limitations. Google documents some constraints (16-month retention, privacy filtering), but the practical impact on real sites is rarely quantified.

We have a unique dataset: daily API syncs across sites of varying sizes. This lets us measure what others can only estimate.
